Our story

The Groove Pick is the result of years of practice    playing    and refinement    I started my guitar journey at thirteen and its been a lifelong passion    From the very beginning  I disliked the feel of flat slippery picks       As a teenager  I even experimented by taking a hammer and nail to carve grooves and grippers into them   Those early homemade picks already felt like an improvement   and they eventually inspired what has now become The Groove Pick

    Im sixty years old now with a lifetime of guitar experience behind me        One day I went out to the garage to make the same style of picks Ive been crafting for forty five years                 Thats when it hit me     

        I had something truly special

These picks offered dynamics and functionality unlike anything else   They never slipped out of my fingers  and I realized that other guitar players should have the chance to experience them too

So we set out on the journey of developing and refining the design     Through trial and testing      we discovered the exact number of grippers and the right configuration to make it work perfectly

   That was the birth of the Groove Pick

We respect the skill and proficiency that can be developed with a traditional flat pick    and   were grateful for its role in guitar playing      That said the added features of our pick give players an extra advantage   greater control   

And with greater control comes increased  speed    precision     and overall proficiency
